TEXTBOOKS

3. The NASA Kepler Mission
Invited chapter contribution appears in the 'Stellar Astrophysics with Kepler and K2' chapter of this book highlighting the Kepler and K2 missions, published by IOP Publishing Ltd, edited by Steve B. Howell (2020)

2. Timing by Stellar Pulsations as an Exoplanet Discovery Method
J. J. Hermes, Invited review to appear in 'Handbook of Exoplanets,' Springer Reference Works, edited by Hans J. Deeg and Juan Antonio Belmonte (2018)

1. We're Texas: Astronomy (2012)
Don Winget and I adapted an astronomy textbook in 2012 for non-major undergraduates from a text originally authored by Rob Robbins and Bill Jefferys. I contributed a section at the end of each chapter localizing the subject matter to research being done at UT-Austin, and the textbook retails for significantly less than most introductory astronomy texts.
